"I'm a jungler but I love to play fill"

wait, aren't those the same thing?

I think im more guilty of playing too aggressive and losing games from overextending as support than playing too passive

Hector's mind went crazy playing in low elo, the Japanese import needed to substitute for Hector for awhile.

Love these videos, I’m barely playing anymore but I always watch you guys.

I actually have an opposite issue. I play Nami borderline suicidally aggro due to how I picked her up. When her E got spell hits, my brother and I started playing Kat/Nami bot due to kit synergy.
Fun fact: playing an enchanter with a melee carry has some quirks to it and I play like that with anyone. You are basically playing 1v2 until an all in happens.

The lux not trading with the ez broke my heart 🤦🏻‍♂️

While this is all good advice, the main problem I find is the commentary’s overall theme; “Whenever you make a mistake, the opponent will make a Challenger-level macro play and you’ll start losing…”

This is low-tier for a reason. Everyone sucks.

I might be guilty of the first one, being spam pinged or told im griefing for wanting to be make the right play might still be buried in my mind somewhere.

"Ideally we ping out jungler to come"

Yeah good luck with that

It would be helpful if you could reference another video about the dynamics of freezing and pushing the waves. There were some ideas put forward in the video that I think are so simple to the commentator that he breezed over them a little quickly.

I swear every time I play with my team (Silver/Gold) we can always predict those stupid invades and we end up killing whoever came in there. I completely agree with this! Don't invade without vision EVER!

I kinda disagree with the last point (Invades).

If all 5 players of a team go ahead and invade the enemy team they are more likely to win even if the rush into potentionally warded territory.
- More often than not at least one player of the enemy team is gonna take a couple extra seconds or even more until they move out of base. Which is going to make your invade a 5 v 4.
- Not everyone is going to realise that the enemy team has a hook champion therefore they are likely to spread out. Which also makes your invade advantagous for your own team.
- If you invade with stronger level 1 Champions (preferable not just the support) than the enemy team you are also more likely to win.

This of course is only my own experience from playing Silver-Plat players. Maybe in Dia, Master and Challenger every player moves instantly out of base and knows perfectly when to counter invades.

Second problem is definitely something I have more than first even though I play ranged supports (mages/enchanters and senna). I tend to play very aggressive and position in front of my adc (like closer to enemy turret compared to my adc not literally in front of them xD) and sometimes I'd trade badly and not really know what to do after. It would be bad spot to recall (I don't have enough gold for anything but I'm too low on health/mana) but if I stay I die or have to play way too passive.
But I hope I'll be able to fix this, I've actually made good progress for someone who just started playing the game for the first time ever few months ago so I'm hopeful

TOP 1 LOW ELO SUPPORT mistake: expecting to win by doing nothing.

VividVortex

As a support main, when i play mid or adc it drives me nuts when i play well and get us an advantage just for my support to litteraly be full hp and mana while im oom and low hp because they dont fight, then inevitably losing lane and gold from passive laning

Gold 3 support here. I think my biggest issue is how much I die. At first, I argued it was better for Support to die than a carry/or that vision was essential for my laners to be safe and then I’d die warding.

When is it worth to die for a laner? Or is it simply not worth in Solo Queue?
And is it worth to ever go for risky wards when you know the enemy has control? (For example, the enemy has already moved into a favourable position by an objective)

Interesting. Right now I mainly main Zyra and Maokai as support with some Taric etc. Very little entirely relevant coverage for these slightly off-meta champs seen

'low elo support mistakes'. Ist thing he mentions is a jungle based thing. What if the jungle decides to take the scuttle then goes back up to gank mid? First example was just jungle advantage. 2nd thing it was invades. I've barely seen low elo players thinking about invades. Tired of pros like these not covering one important think as a support. You're not an adc support, you're a team support. Your most important role is to provide vision advantage and depending on champ, taking advantage of isolated enemy champs
