Thank you for being inclusive and mentioning limited mobility, Toni. It’s the reason I shop online.

I had to laugh out loud when you mentioned “some days we just don’t want to put on pants”, because you are so very right! That’s when I knew this was a real video!

Little tip: check with your LYS even if they don't have an online shop. I am home-bound due to disability and my LYS (Parker Avenue Knits) has been amazing. They respond quickly to Instagram messages, answer questions over the phone, and have even done a video chat with me to help find things. They have offered to ship things to me as well. Thanks for another great video, Toni!

You have such a beautiful smile and speaking voice. I love to hear, and watch you talk. I always feel like I’m learning from a friend. You put everyone at ease.

Little Knits is also a great online store. As a Canadian, I've been searching for more companies based in Canada because some of the shipping fees to bring something across the border are outrageous! Once I purchased a shirt for $25, shipping was $20 but then I got nailed another $55.

Have used most of these online stores. Living in a VERY small town we have limited options for yarn. The online stores can reach every financial parameter. Thanks TL yarns for the review. Love your yarn room!!

For discontinued yarns (and who hasn't played yarn chicken and lost, then searched fruitlessly for that same yarn with no results?)I have found Ebay sellers to be a real blessing. Many of the sellers are crocheters and knitters who bought too much, or lost interest in some yarns, and while the prices aren't always cheap, often the shipping is free, and being able to find the yarn in the exact color you need, well, it is just worth it.

I also love Webs - great resource for LYS type yarns at discount price.

Amazon or eBay are not my 1st choice, or really a choice to buy yarn but Amazon came in handy for finding one more ball of a yarn to finish a project. It sucks losing at yarn chicken, so was glad to find what I needed.

I found WoolWearhouse when I fell in love with Lucy Attic 24 blankets. I was SO AMAZED at the price and quality of the yarn I purchased as part of her blanket bundle. It was so easy! I was afraid living in California that it would take forever to get here but had the yarn in a week! Plus it comes in a great project bag! I’m “hooked” on that site now for blanket projects! Great video!!! So inspired!

The best value comes from Afrique Yarns in South Africa. Hand dyed. Hand spun packs. Take a look you will be delighted.

Yarn Paradise/Ice Yarns is my go to when i buy in bulk since it’s a wholesale site. You can get 2-8 skeins of yarn per “lot” depending on the brand, type, weight, etc and most of their cotton and acrylics are suuuuper cheap but still awesome quality! Shipping is a lil pricey for US folks since it’s a brand based in Turkey i believe, but my orders almost always get here within 5-6 days 💜

One of my favorites is DROPS Design. They not only have beautiful yarns, but also a treasure trove of free patterns.

Im in the UK and shop with Wool Warehouse, for my rug hooking and I'm just starting to learn crochet in your academy, thank you for all the lessons.

I love these recommendations. I'm in the UK, so some aren't really viable, but when you can't get to the LYS because of motility issues (I'm housebound), then having those amazing places online. Wool Warehouse is my virtual LYS. :)

This came right on time! I was struggling trying to find alternative yarn for your Bahama Blanket pattern. Something that was a nice mixed variegated yarn that could blend well together and wasn’t going to have giant chunks of a color or stripes. I visited each site and found the PERFECT yarn at Lovecrafts. It’ll be a gift for my mom for Christmas. Since she crochets herself and quite well I never felt confident making her anything, however Tunisian crochet is something only I do in our family. Gotta thank you for introducing me to that too Toni! Thanks!
