I have been trying to learn the magic circle for years and have doubted my ability to learn crochet in general (how secure can one be if one can't even master something so simple!)! Until today and with you, I found in all those years not ONE person EVER said the tail should be OUTSIDE the circle for it to close!! All these years I had been making it correctly but didn't know to take the tail out of the ring!! I always thought it was ME, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! every other tutorial ‘for beginners’ assumes you don’t know how to make the magic circle, BUT you know how to put the stitches inside. so they take forever to show you the magic circle but then speed through the stitches. thank you so much, i really hope i’ll be able to figure it out with this tutorial.

Ive been through my search history so much about crocheting a magic circle its all "how do you make a magic circle in crochet" until I found this video like Ive tried loads of videos this is the one that really help thank you so much I just want to say this video is amazing I only started a couple days ago and I figured out how to do a magic circle again thank you so so so much for your help and thank you so much for the update for the tutorial to include two alternative methods thank you so much this has helped alot
