Sounds like the alien signal from the movie ‘Contact’ from 1997, funny coincidence.

This is very similar to the noise signal in the film "Contact" See YT "Contact Signal Scene" Who is playing pranks I wonder.

Of course this dude is going to say I don't think anything is wrong. I imagine he is not allowed to say anything negative. My gut tells me those astronauts are in trouble, they just dont realize how much trouble yet.

It's the sound of the most terrifying life-form in the universe trying to break free from that ramshackle space pod.

Haven’t the astronauts been stuck in the spaceship for two months now?

In this case, I'm 99% sure the official explanation that it's sound system feedback is correct. I've accidentally produced that kind of feedback before, with the "pulse" just being the delay between the mic and the speaker.

Cycling down to extinction, it’s a count down. Someone get Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum on the phone

I'm more concerned about the fact that if they tune in "just wrong" they can listen to human conversations on Earth. Far more concerning than Aliens.

As a long time experienced farm mechanic, always assume its the already confirmed problem maker(starliner) and not the thing thats been working for years(ISS).

It's getting ready to explode with pressure. They should let it go and not take that risk.

Jose Hernandez I just watched his movie yesterday million miles away

The frequency seems to be too slow for feedback internally in the ISS, (67 metres of pressurised habitat) and I measured just under, or exactly 1 second frequency of the ping (depending on where you mark the peak). It does not sound mechanical either, and no complexity to indicate communication. I am not saying its aliens, but ....

It's the rare space submarine that is plotting a solution on ISS. Yep. Definitely.
