And when I test something in the lab, I hold it to the rigorous standards of the Mount Rushmore of VPN awesomeness. What is that? You ask? A good question. It's four things. Number one, how easy is it to use the service? Is it compatible with your OS is? What is the customer support? Like number two is solid security? What are they doing to protect your data and your privacy? When you're using the VPN? Number Three to performance? Is it fast? What can you do with it? What can you do with it? And number four value? What kind of bang for your buck? Are you getting? Do they have a free trial? So you can test it out a money back guarantee? In case you're not satisfied? What are they doing for you, the customer? And if mullvad doesn't fit the bill?

Of course, you know, I'll have recommendations for you in the description as well as any coupon codes or discounts. Well, when it comes to your user experience, I actually found them to be one of the easiest out there, they're compatible with a multitude of OS is, and the only thing that I would give them a knock for here is the customer support. And the reason why I mentioned that is because their customer support is located in Sweden, and they only operate during Swedish hours. So if you want to get a hold of somebody, they will get back to you and they are helpful, they are polite, your thing is to make sure that you have a reasonable expectation of when you're going to receive response back with them based upon that.

So keep that in mind, security wise, no worries there, they vigorously protect your data. And they don't log anything a no log policy, as I've referred to it in previous videos. And given all of this, there's little to no risk of your personal information being exposed, which is really, really great. They don't have a built in ad blocker. But they do recommend using ublock origin to be able to take care of that portion of the service where they lack and believe it or not, the Great Firewall of China is something more that has been able to defeat. So yes, you can get around that if need be, which is a pretty cool thing.

Overall, I was very impressed with wallbeds connection speeds, many of you may or may not know that it's normal to experience what is hopefully with VPN, a very unnoticeable lag or degradation in your download speeds upload speeds and you're paying. And with a good VPN, you should not notice this at all. With these solid speeds. Of course, torrenting is not going to be an issue for you peer to peer sharing. They're really really good for that as well. But the problem that I had with them performance wise is when it comes to streaming. Netflix was a no go Hulu was a no go BBC I player was a no go. But HBO Go was a Go figure. And the lack of the ability to stream content is a really big deal to me, as I'm sure it is to many people. And also quite a bummer for me was the fact that they don't offer a free version.
