Mullvad VPN Review 2019 - Good or Not? Overhyped?

How does the channel make money?

It's not pretty simple VPN, it's highly customizable. All their servers work on OpenVPN, so you can download config files for OpenVPN and use it there. You can choose between ports, connect through their bridges (requires SOCKS5 proxy). They have guides for routers: DD-WRT, OpenWrt, pfSense, Asus Merlin, Tomato.
They also have wireguard with multi hop server, custom port, kill switch(only for linux). For windows you can use tunsafe client and import mullvad's wireguard config file.
I really like their privacy guides posts. They're one of rare VPN providers which tells you exactly what they store. I mean it's not just: yea we store payment information without credit card numbers (like torguard). They show you exactly which kind of data they store in their No-logging policy. They also have negative side, such as streaming services. If you want speed or geo-unblocking mullvad is not for you. If you want real paranoia kind of privacy, they have that too. Just pop some cash, with your acc number in envelope, and send it to Sweeden. Mullvad is just made for real privacy, if you want anything else, choose another VPN.

I never had a problem with the website. It was really straightforward.
Also, initially I was skeptical to the support - until I literally got a reply within 2 minutes regarding a complex problem.
As someone who was new to VPN the application and sign up process was super smooth, and the price so small. Personally it was such a painless experience, not to mention zero difference in speed.
Also you can choose different cities in Sweden.
