If triple clicking the power button does not turn on Guided Access, go to the area of the Settings app showed at 0:27, and below the text which says "Guided Access" there will be a short paragraph which will explain the key combination you need to use.

I was triple clicking too fast and it would turn slow it down and it works perfect every time

If a home button iPad isn’t working go to settings and slow down the home button click speed
