This video shows you how to install Guest Additions on Debian 9, 10, or 11 virtual machines installed on new or old versions of the Oracle VM VirtualBox virtualization program.
Installing Linux Kernel Packages: 0:20
Installing Guest Additions: 7:30
Checking the Screen Resolution: 11:30
To install Guest Additions:
Step 1: If you have not installed #Debian before, please refer to the video below.
Step 2: After installing the system, you need to install Guest Additions, so you can use the virtual machine more efficiently.
Step 3: Run the virtual machine to start the installation and click on Add Devices / Guest Additions CD image.
Step 4: Open the terminal in the #Guest #Additions CD image folder and run the VBoxLinuxAdditions command to start the installation.
Step 5: Restart your system after installation. You can now transfer files between the host and the VM.
