That graph shows a great rise in personal income but we should be cognizant of our declining purchasing power, too. The median price of a home in 1970 was roughly $20, 000, now it hovers around $400, 000, many multiples of the average salary. On the question of automation and stagnating wages look to Chomsky's incredible "Class War" speech, circa 1996.

You can't always say "this happened in the past" as if it's a reliable predictor of the future. AI is fundamentally different from the technologies that have come along in the past.

it cannot.
Here is the best answer so far:

"Just as we humans can grow, we idle as well, so the path is different. AI has no real perception of love because AI is based upon calculation. Humans avoid sence, structure, balance, health and even sustainabillity and throw that all away for love. That cannot be replaced."

First, Intelligence can Never be artificial.
Programming, and stored consciousness is very useful,
a book is also stored consciousness.
The Living Beings is Eternal, have Desire and Will.
It is kindergarden to believe that programs can be living, have desire and will.
When the machines and devices do all the work,
there will be plenty of time to study, and also this will be at a higher level,
and there will be so much to study,
