Two Chinese fighter jets go into Taiwan air space

Chinese J-11s crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait between Taiwan and China on Sunday for 12 minutes. Taiwan fighter jets intercepted them and Taiwan condemned the provocative move.

Taiwan should have taken the failed Su37 and Mig 31 deals once offered to Korea in the early '90s. Korea' s deal for Mig 31 failed over Korea's demands related to tech transfer while the Su37 deal couldn't have gone anywhere as Korea got F15. But Taiwan couldn't get anything at all. So Taiwan could have gotten the Sukhois earlier than China did and China would have bought the inferior Mig 29 instead.
