I misread the title as "Horse Mythology". The thumbnail supported my mistake.

I always find the story of Týr and Fenrir to be sad, since Týr was the only Ás brave enough to raise Fenrir, they must have been quite close. The whole "tricking" is also very symbolic, the right hand representing one's honor and by tricking Fenrir, Týr lost it.

I know a tale, o sons of earth.
I speak it as I must.
Of how nine trees gave life to worlds
That giants held in trust.

That was the first Age, Ymir's time.
There was no land or sea.
Just a void between two darknesses,
No stars by which to see.

This is like the third intepretation of what Hel looks like that I've heard. First was that half of her was beautiful while the other ugly and the second was that one part was amazingly beautiful but her other half was a corpse. She would also rape men who gone to Hel (the place).

I didn't know Loke had brothers. o.o Where did you get that information? Not any of the Norse mythology book I've read (which are MANY) mentioned anything about his brothers, than his blood-brother Oden.

Æsir (asar in modern Swedish) is the plural of áss (as in modern Swedish), so Loki was, although originally a giant, considered an áss or _one of the_ æsir. Saying he was considered an "æsir" is like saying that, even though originally a Dane, you're considered a "Swedes". Sorry about the nitpicking, but as a Nordic philologist, I can't help myself, and considering stanza 127 in Hávamál (hvars þú böl kannt kveð þú þér bölvi at ok gef-at þínum fjándum frið), the evil of bad grammar needs to be addressed when encountered. Otherwise excellent video: thumbs up!

There's a hideous monster called Hel? I hope my sister isn't aware of that because that would mean she calls me Hel on purpose and that wouldn't be very nice of her!
