Transition 3 - use the crossfader to toss between songs... Next "mix in front of the needle", where you align the upcoming drop before it hits the needle marker... that way you have time to align the track in headphones prior to the drop. This helps when the beatgrid is not perfect, of you didn't beatgrid or set cues in advance. (more flexible for on the fly mixing and so you don't develop a crutch to beatgrids or cues)
