Hi Gideon, these words, as you mentioned, we can find in lyrics. I can remember some of them, for example:
"I wanna be your man" by Suzi Quatro
"Gotta go home" by Boney M
In "Teenage Queenie" by Pussycat we can hear this: "Teenage Queenie you still gotta grow but if you wanna be free there's a long time to go".
"Yellow boomerang" by Middle Of The Road starts like this: "You're like my yellow Boomerang when you say you gonna have to leave".
And finally, my favourite band Status Quo in their song "Sorrow" sing "You never do what you know you oughta, something tells me you're the Devil's daughter":

Good channel and interesting topics but only one problem. The audio level for the voice and music are at very different level. I use head phone so each time the music starts, I have to reduce the volume and then raise the volume to listen to your voice.

on this side of the pond I would never use that in a job interview or any other formal situation. At the bar(pub) or with the family yeah sure, no big deal.

In the USA "oughtn't" Isn't used. I've never heard it said.
Actually "ought' is often substituted with "should" like: I should go the the clinic and get a covid-19 booster shot. followed by: shoulda, woulda, coulda. I say those in that order. You can pick one of the three you like.
