Astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley are slated to be the first humans to leave earth from the United States since the space shuttle was retired in 2011. Earlier in the week, a first launch attempt was scrubbed due to poor weather conditions. Thanks SpaceX, I was so depressed when we shut down the shuttle program. It seemed like we may never get back to launching, then we had to rely on Russia to get us there.
