Checkmark SLICER You Have Not Seen Before | Power BI

In this video I show you a slicer trick that let's you show checkmarks for selected measures. It is the small things that can make a design great - this is one of them :)

Bas, love your videos, man. Your designs are inspiring. Working on a report right now, and I'm going to try the version of your checkmark slicer on the left side of the vertical cards that you showed at the end.

My own latest favorite thing to do is to secretly use a bookmark navigator in place of the default field parameter slicer. Create a bookmark for each field parameter state. Toggle the bookmark settings so only Data and Selected Visuals are checked. Map each field parameter selection to its own respective bookmark. Then just hide the field parameter slicer entirely, and use the bookmark navigator to switch between states instead. Get the functionality of the field parameter with all the formatting and customization options that are available for the bookmark navigator.
