Hey man, my triggers aren’t working like they used too. One is always pressed down and the other one can never be pressed down there is no debris in any of the controllers it is just the oculus thinking that I’m always pressing down one controller all the time and doing nothing with the other I feel pretty hopless and don’t know what to do

I have only been playing on my meta quest 2 for 6 months 4 hours a day, it started with my right controller powering of for no reason losing connection. Today something happened to my left, the back and side buttons would not work I couldn't accept my boundaries and my batteries where in perfect shape, I can't hand track in gorilla tag so I might need new controllers Reply if you think I'm right or you have experienced this

So after none of this worked for me I finally decided its time to take it apart. Watch a video on how to disassemble it. Had to peel off both y and b buttons (both weren't working) cleaned it with some contact cleaners and they started working again. Wasn't as bad, but was a little nervous. Definitely do at own risk.

My issue is that at first left controller was stuck at "updating 55%" and that's it. Taking battery out for a minute or so helped but now the "occulus" button on the left controller does not do what it is supposed to do.
So when I press it - it is actually registered and you can see "blue" light in your headset (blue beam from controller) but it does not hide/show stuff and when I hold it it doe snot center view. While the right controller works well.
Any ideas how this particular issue can be fixed?

My right controller oculus button has been like being pressed on and off non stop, keeps bringing up the voice commands, so I disable voice commands, but it still flashes and beeps as if it's being pressed over and over causing the boxes to turn on and off, unplayable! Battery is new. Resetting and recently updated too. But still doing it. Using hand gesture helps but..I need the controller.

I know this is super late
But my trigger is unresponsive, whenever I press it down in the head set it shows that my finger is placed on the trigger, even when I fully pressing down

And for my x button it gets stuck, it isn’t as clicky as my y button and is also unresponsive

For me. It's when I put a new battery on it and I clicked the button and it still doesn't work and it's for both controllers they just won't turn on

Well I think I may need new controllers in general because of drifting. But the B button on my right controller does not work anymore. Idk if it's because of it getting beat or if it's dirty underneath and needs to be taken apart professionally and cleaned. So I have no clue to be honest with you.
