To stop an esczlator:
1.Open the control panel and turn out the voltage.
2.Cut the power.
3.Don't stand on it for 5 minutes.
4.Press the emergency stop button.
5.Put 500 people on an escalator.
6.Put water in the motor.
7.Block the endpoint.

When I was little I used to sit on the stairs on the escalator and my mum or dad were like “get up” but they knew it was no use and let me sit but said “wash your hands after” but when we got close to the bottom I jumped up and jumped over that little line at the bottom of the escalator bc I was so frightened of getting sucked into it😅😅 my mum and dad grew to learn it and didn’t bother to tell me to stand up bc they knew what would happen next and then chuckled when I sprinted over it 😂
