I'm an adult, but this kinda scares me because it reminds my old fear of playing Minecraft survival alone, because I watched too many Herobrine, Entity 303, and Null videos on YouTube when I was a kid, it's a weird feeling of a nostalgia

Okay, those void spaghetti shadow demons were actually kinda creepy. Mostly because of how hard they contrast the Minecraft art style.
If it had stuck with that angle and followed the more "traditional" corrupt and/or haunted game motif it could have probably been better overall.
That second half kinda derailed the plot into some other dimension of absurdity.
