I kind of wonder if the "Dev raid" was some kind of trolling. I think that (in-universe) the ex-developers caught onto people on Discord Servers trying to solve the mystery, and created all those ominous and fake videos to throw people off. One of them literally had Among Us crewmates.

21:24 This dude has much more bizarre stuff in his documents folder, such as "Sonic X-Treme(USA).iso" - an US release of cancelled Sonic game from 1996 that doesn't actually have any playable versions, or "Mario 128" - a codename of unreleased sequel to Super Mario 64, or "Taiwan 2001" - a parody of famous "Honk-Kong 1997" that is considered lost media.
All that in combination with the footage of legendary 17th Colossus on another player's PC suggests that the whole story of "Minecraft Alpha 1.0.16 Versions" takes place in an alternate universe slightly different from our own.

The JJBA phantom Blood movie has a cheeky cameo in the video collection video. Pretty sneaky and chad way to show that the arg takes place in another universe as the movie is lost in ours.

i like how not only Sam has the herobrine live, but also some other lost midias, like mario 128 and jojo's phantom blood for DVD, really gives that "x-files"/"conspiracy" vibes to it
