Star Wars: Andor | Official Trailer

Disney+'s upcoming original series, 'Andor,' explores a new perspective from the 'Star Wars' galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor's (Diego Luna) journey. Genevieve O'Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård and Fiona Shaw also star, and Forest Whitaker reprises his role of Saw Gerrera. The series takes place prior to the events of 'Rogue One' and launches Sept. 21, exclusively on Disney+, with the first three episodes.

This already looks better than Kenobi and Book of Bobba. I think Star Wars is on its best form when its away from milking the main storyline. Rogue One to me was more satisfying than anything save the original trilogy and Clone Wars obviously. I think its the blank canvas effect (kind off). Don't have to bother with making the Jedi and lightsabers look cooler than we already know them to be.

George Lucas’ whole rule about no underwear in space and ‘don’t show the zippers’ was to give you a feeling of a galaxy far, far away. Something you would never see here, but that did remind you of our own universe in some way. The gun on 0:08 is a good example of what he was trying to avoid.

Oh hell yeah, this really looks and feels like Star Wars. Kenobi and Book of Boba simply didn’t leave me satisfied, but this… this looks promising.
