I'm 40 and really stopped caring what people think about me. I spent many years caring and it was a waste of time

Damn this makes me feel better. 33 and im finally solid and confident enough to do what I do best. The 20s definitely wasn’t my time to shine. It was my time to learn, feel, experience, hurt, cry, laugh, fail, build, lack, lose, gain, change, reflect, grow. If you can make it without having kids or losing your freedom, 30s is the new 20s. Just better.

One more year to 40 and I realized the world is one big hustle and everyone just wants to use you.

I'm now in my 60s and I realized your truth sometime ago. I regretted the times I stressed about other people so now I'm really happiest , sleeping better, enjoying freedom in my solitude . Wisdoms wasted in the young - how true !

This is the kind of stuff I want to hear. Actual life advice from people that have lived it.

Your mother's advice was brilliant, and what you've done with her advice is brilliant as well. Thank you so much for sharing.

It depends on how you live and treat others.
Then you will be remembered AND missed.

This is the best advice I’ve ever heard. 27 and still grinding at side hustles… waiting for a breakthrough

Truth! I'm in my mid fifties and it gets truer every day.

I'm glad I figured this out early at 27. I had a tumultuous 20s with my career, business, finances, fitness, property, divorce, family court, and my daughter. So many life lessons within 5 years. Now I have trimmed the fat of life and hyper-focused coming into 2023 with a fantastic woman who add value, finances in order, an efficient work pattern, great sleep, working out every week day and working towards that early retirement at 45. I could never have been in this position if I was never stung hard from so many angles in life and transformed myself over three years. Super excited for the next several decades.

I'm 30. And when I was 20. I knew they didn't care. But I never cared what they thought

I like that, you get to your 60’s and realised that no one thought about you anyways.. ❤
