Leviticus: The Bible Explained

Watch our Introduction video on the book of Leviticus, which outlines the book's main theme and how it is fulfilled in Jesus. How can we live in God’s presence? The answer is given to us in the book of Leviticus. If we are ever to dwell with God we must become like God, we must be holy as he is holy. Atonement provided a temporary way to take our darkness and make it light, but we needed a more permanent solution. That is why Jesus, who is God's light itself, took on our darkness to make us holy like him.

Wow, I'm blown away! I love how you are able to explain such dense ideas in such a poetic yet succinct way so that I can really grasp it! I'm a new Christian and I remember trying to blow through Leviticus because I was so...well disturbed by all of the animal sacrifices and the blodd spattered alters. I just didn't get it. But that line "We have to see how much it costs to take our stains and make them white. We need to see that something has to die to take our darkness and make it light." suddenly I understand by the imagery was so detailed and gruesome, but in reading it alone I didn't understand the message behind it, which you so clearly illustrated through this amazing piece of art! THANK YOU!

Honestly that was perfect! I’m emotional right now and thankful to Jesus for being an amazing loving God! He rescued us and die for us. I have three chapters left to finish reading/studying Leviticus. I asked the Holy Spirit to lead me and by chapter 11, things began to become very clear. Leviticus is not a "difficult" book for me anymore. Everything explained in this video is what the spirit revealed to me.
