Leviticus is well-known for being about the Law of God for the nation of Israel. But, as New Testament believers, many of these laws are no longer relevant to our lives today. So the question can be asked, "why spend the time to read about Laws that no longer apply?" This is the exact questions we answer in today's video, and we will see how Leviticus is still very relevant for you and me today.

I began reading the bible to fulfill a 1 year reading. I had this video come to my phone a week ago as I was in Exodus ( I read extra some days) so after I finished Exodus I decided to watch this. I honestly was gonna skip Leviticus but I feel the Lord brought the video for a reason. I understand better on why I'm not going to skip it. After watching 5 minutes I understand why it is important to read. Thank you! God bless all His children ( we are all His children)❣

Your channel just popped up in my feed, and I am so happy! The sacrifices are all about how we can’t do it on our own. It’s all about Jesus. Years of “power reading “ it, God opened my eyes. It all made sense. I read it twice in 2023! Thank you for your videos

My bible study group is studying Leviticus right now and oh how wonderful it is. I too use to speed read through it but I now see how much I was missing. It's so wonderful seeing how God shows us how Holy He is and how unholy we are. It shadows Jesus Christ most AMAZING! We're going into The Book of Numbers soon (another book I would speed read to), but I'm sure I"ll get new revelations from it also. Happy reading and blessed b it.

Peter's vision was about associating with gentiles. It was in no way shape or form saying we can eat unclean things now.

Sounded okay until 3:54 with the direct contradiction to the Word about Leviticus 11, Malachi 3:6, and Hebrews 13:8. No longer applies? Try again. Mathew 15 and Mark 7, even Acts 10-11 tell of no change to Leviticus 11. You can’t be clean if eating what God calls unclean and an abomination! If you know Messiah, walk as He walked (1 Jn 2:6), and He ate clean - no pig bacon! It was an abomination then it’s an abomination now. Why do you think Christ cast the legion of demons INTO THE PIGS?! (Matthew 8:28-34). Messiah Himself said…

“Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete. For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one yod or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done. “Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens.”
‭‭Mattithyahu (Matthew)‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬-‭19‬ ‭TS2009‬‬

Y’all be blessed in your pursuit of truth 🙏 Yahovah is faithful, and changes not, so our hope in Him remains.

Imagine what our worship of the Father would look like if we didn’t have His Instructions (the Law) to use as a tutor, but trusted in our own understanding of righteousness before Christ is able to fulfilled the Law in our heart (Galatians 3:23-25). Without the righteousness of Christ we might be tempted to worship the Father in a way that seems right to a man but in the end would lead to death (Proverbs 14:12). Or, we might worship the Father in the way the nations worship their gods (Deuteronomy 12:4) by holding onto the traditions of our pagan forefathers (Mark 7:8). Traditions the Father says are worthless, like cutting trees out of the forest and adorning it with silver and gold and then fastening them so they doesn’t totter (Jeremiah 10:3-4). Or we could make a fatal mistake of giving honor to a false god like E-ster for the resurrection of Christ (Exodus 23:13), or we might join the Beast and try to change the Father’s set apart times altogether (Daniel 7:25). This is why it’s only by using the Law as a tutor are we able to discover the idols of our heart that keep us from experiencing true joy and peace.

Thankyou. I found the Jewish Bible along with my KJV is pivotal to my studies in a clear concise way. It is not written in Hebrew but rather, it makes clearer the information God has written (by a Messianic Rabbi). I do recommend it. Getting through it was tough though, much bloodshed which actually made me rather queasy. Hope this helps someone out.

It is Psalm 119:136 sad believers must be encouraged to read Leviticus.

Jesus is quite clear in Matt 22:37-40 and especially in Matt 22:40 on these two depend the whole law and prophets. The whole law and prophets are instructions torah in Hebrew for loving GOD, and loving others.

Does anyone find it remarkable the portions of the law taught as "fulfilled" is predominantly if not wholly doing away with commandments involving Loving GOD? Whether the setting aside the law is done by scribes and pharisees (see Mark 7:6) or the modern church it appears to be the same problem. What was will be again there is nothing new under the sun Ecclesiastes 1:9.
