Modeling with ARCHICAD in 15 minutes

This video shows all steps of modeling a small forest cabin using only basic ARCHICAD Tools and techniques: Wall, Roof, Slab, Curtain Wall, Object, Door, Mesh.

The training does not require the download of any custom file, everything is created from scratch using the standard ARCHICAD 23 International template file.

Something i think you guys should incorporate in your dimensioning tool; when i have interior wall references that i want to modify i should be able to do so without having to go back to each individual wall to reposition it. Dragging and dropping might be intuitive but it is not practical. Say for instance i want to modify the wall depth but dont want my room dimension modified, i would type in the desired wall thickness and the exterior structure would change to fit the changed wall thickness. locked and unlocked dimensions are a godsend when going through revisions.

I have the student edition, and I was trying to follow this video, I could not find any building material used in this video (eg: Timber roof/floor, etc) so I used a close alternative for each. And then the 3D view was blank (no error). Is there something else that I need to unlock? Help appreciated! And it definitely does not take 15mins!!!!
