A small victory here: of all the attempts I've made to make a PBR texture, this is the first that I've managed to add to a model and make it look half-decent! Thanks for posting another great video Ryan.

In the 17th and 18th Century, sailing ships from England en-route to the American colonies, would load up the ship with cobblestones. This made for smoother sailing. In the Colonies, they unloaded the cobblestones and replaced the weight with goods like tobacco and lumber. Even now, many of the old East Coast cities have cobblestones under their streets.

I've used your procedural "cobblestone" procedure with some modifications to create a stone wall for a castle. Looks much better than the texture-mapped images of stone and brick because you don't run into the tiling repeat problem, which just loooks cheesy. Thanks for this, and do keep up the good

Another excellent and very useful procedural material tutorial. Thanks, Ryan! Thanks, too, for including the exact values of the colors you use; being one of your followers who's color-blind, that extra detail is much appreciated.

Waaagh. I just finished Wayward Art Company's "Creating an Old House in Blender", and was using your procedural textures (where applicable) just as you uploaded this!!
I guess I'll have to do a driveway now, since this is all too fitting.
You're a goddamn machine!! Thanks for the toots!

I was able to texture a whole house with 4 of your material tutorials, thank you. The only downside is it's very hard to work with because of how many nodes there are.

Really like the series. Best I have seen on procedural materials. I tried to follow this one with Blender 4 but mine did not end up like yours. Had to scale the voronoi in the mask to 5 and displacement to .03. Got it close but no matter what i did with roughness always looks a bit glossy. I think its the new bsdf layout or lacunarity in the textures. Not sure.
