Having ambition is all it takes to make a videogame adaptation work

That's why most videogame adaptations in the past failed, because the studio hired people that didn't understand videogames or filmmaking

That's why recent adaptations like "Detetive Pikachu", "Sonic The Hedgehog" and "Arcane" worked, because the people behind it understood the games and the media

Animal Crossing Movie and Sonic Movie 2 are my favourite video game movies I've enjoyed watching.
I remember growing up playing Animal Crossing Wild World and City Folk when I was a kid. I watched the anime movie and I instantly like it so much back then.
When I watched Sonic Movie 2 for the first time in the theatre, I was extremely hyped to see Knuckles and Tails first appear. I kept watching the live-action movie at home because I really like the wedding scene and action sequences. It's fun to watch.

Absolutely love the Mortal Kombat franchise, the first movie will always be my favorite, the fight between Liu Kang and Reptile will always be my favorite and one I still go back and watch.

I am actually surprised that Ace attorney took the 1st spot. Not saying it's bad, but outside of Ace Attorney community I don't really hear anyone talk about it. Also, I would personally put Professor Layton and Eternal Diva on the first spot.

I think resident evil 2002 deserves to be in the honorable mentions, it does make a decent story that is heavily implied to take place in the games universe (before the sequel came out)

2020’s ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ is my number one favorite video game movie.
The 2022 sequel officially made over 405 million worldwide.
We can’t wait to see the 3rd and final ‘Sonic’ film installment in the future.

Both Sonic movies are my number 1 also I really enjoyed Mortal Kombat, Rampage and Uncharted I’m glad both Rampage and Uncharted got an honorable mention also I didn’t know about there was a Bayonetta and Animal Crossing movies

My favorite video game movies I like are Sonic the Hedgehog (2020) and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022). These two live action Sonic films are the best!
