This is a ton of crap. Dealer license $700 for used dealer, $656 for surety bond(we got this on low credit). A basic lot(here)… $1, 000 a month. You don’t need employees. Just get your cars, invest in getting them repaired and ready to sell…. Tracking and done. Don’t play into these YouTube “if you need help” plugins, you don’t need all that extra shit. You can makes over a grand even just a wholesaler license like I did. Edited: I also like to add in that you are not "required" to get a $500 LLC. You can simply get a DBA ($25) and that legalizes you as a business to get your license(yes we did that). We are later going to wrap our DBA around our LLC or we may drop the DBA off and keep the LLC. There's no passing "tax clearance codes", wtf? Your dealer class is 6 hours wow, you can do that online. you WILL pass your state license as well as the inspection.

2005 Cobalt LS: $700 ... goes for $2, 800
2005 Kia Spectra: paid $1, 000 two years ago ... Will probably sell it off at $1, 200 or finance for $1, 500

The Lot: $1, 000/month
Comes with a carport for shop work and a lot to put some cars on and an office with AC/Heat and a non leaking roof

We're up $2, 500 just from this comment and starting expenses were a mere $1, 500 so we've made our rent back for the month. That alone should tell the viewers it's not "expensive, it's BUSINESS. It does not take much to start this. There's free CRM's to track everything, you have today's "marketing" resources like facebook and instagram, you have auctions, dealers you can build relationships with. Cars especially for the "lesser" need us, you WILL win either way people. Start the business and keep your standards high and your integrity at max and you will grow your business into multiple within a year!
