One of the greatest midfielders of all time. Can attack, defend, carry the ball, dribble, amazing short pass and long pass, great leader, and was the key man taking Croatia to a World Cup final and a 3rd place finish.

I look at this man play football at the highest level at 37 years old and I cant believe my eyes.. i think if we take a step back.. look at his entire career at club level and international level, his BDO, his medals.. his ability and football IQ.. how can anyone say he s not the best midfielder to ever play the game? What an absolute gem of a player. Midfield king. When he retires the Bernabeu will be full of tears of joy.. his testimonial will be unbelievable.
