The Met's century-long commitment to Chinese art

With a Chinese art collection of more than 14,000 pieces of jade, bronze, ceramics and works in other media, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York has "a very big commitment" which is to give people "a real sense of the glories of Chinese art."
