What you don’t want to do is what they did a few years ago when he was hurt and Evan Rodrigues was playing with Crosby and having literally the best stretch of his career. Rust comes back and even though “it ain’t broke” they still had to “fix” it and they broke up that line. Rust did not perform how Rodrigues did at that point, and Rodrigues production dropped after being removed from that line. It was like, “why? Why did you guys do that ? Why did you mess with something that was working?”

The concept of more offense feels like less defense. Well it hasn't been working very well. I think they have improved some, but they still need better defense, maybe a better way of saying it is more balance. Thank you DK. Awesome.

Rusty is the perfect guy to fit in with a top 9 role bc he can play the grind game with the bottom 6 and contribute top 6 like offense to that group

Crazy to me that a guy like Rust, who clearly presents as a natural athlete, is plagued with such frequent injuries. Whereas a guy like Phil the Thrill, pounding back McDoubles all day, never missed a game ever; the pinnacle of health!😂😂😂

Dk, I know this wasn’t today’s topic but I’m tired of people advocating for the firing of Sully. I live in Cleveland, I get to see first hand how lazy fans blame the coach for all short comings year after year. It’s not the answer.
