This is a very interesting video! I was in the UK back in April, and everyone was very welcoming especially up in northern England. I got into a very nice conversation with an older couple about travel and cameras (they noticed my vlogging camera). In addition, I even got to meet up with one of my followers for dinner one night too. Always remember to treat people with respect and respect their values, and they will respect you right back. Great video!

I lived in the UK for a bit during college and frequently visit since then. I always warn my US friends to stand on the right side of the escalator. I can always find the American in London when they are just hanging out on the left side causing a blockage for those trying to walk up.

Just spent a month in Edinburgh and currently another month in England. We were in Edinburgh when Queen Elizabeth II passed away so we experienced all the outpouring of love and sadness for her and her family. We find the British extremely friendly, many wanting to have lengthy conversation. It is not unusual though for British people to stay to themselves. The food is generally bland lacking seasoning. The food is also a lot of sandwiches, burgers or fried food. They are well known for fish and chips which has been perfected and is absolutely delicious.

The UK especially places like London, Birmingham, and Manchester are more multicultural than many realize though stereotypes may be comforting.

I was stationed at RAF Upper Heyford, near Bicester in Oxfordshire in the late 70s. I am retiring next year, and hope to go back for a visit. After 40+ years there have been many changes to the area - the base has been closed for a long time. But I look forward to having my feet on that soil again. During my two years living in England, I found the Brits welcoming and quite tollerant of us - despite our being loud and sometimes obnoxious.

just wanted to respond to what you said about the humor dutch, so i don't want to speak for the British people, but my English friends mainly mean that Americans don't get the english sarcastic sense of humor, or sarcasm in general, i happen to agree with them

Without being nosy, but i'm a former Londoner( with Irish Parentage) who has lived in the U.S for 23 ( somewhat challenging) yrs..So i was wondering where do u live?
And the last time i visited was in 2011! .But i do intend to go back in the nxt few months ( stay for a while& maybe work?)
