When I was a teenager, I believed the "look around at how amazing the world is!" argument. I remember a friend of ours pointing to her new baby and saying something similar. And that sentiment was good enough for me back then. These days, however, I can appreciate how (sometimes amazing/sometimes horrible) the world is without the need to give the credit to some supernatural entity.

Even if one proves that the knife was used by another person, it's still impossible to rule out "suicide" right away. It's still possible that the guy wanted to die but, lacking the courage to do it himself, hired someone else to do it for him. In such a scenario, since he was the mastermind behind his *own* death, it counts as a suicide.

His argument against evolution is based on his record breaking level of religious indoctrination. This man stopped thinking and questioning years ago after the Jesus meme feasted on his brain like larva on a rotting corpse.

Evidence for atheism, using his killer analogy:  You're a police officer who's called to the scene of a suspected murder.  All the doors are locked, and all the windows are closed, with no sign of forced entry.  All of the home's inhabitants are alive and without injury, and have no idea of any wrong doing in the area.  You find not a single trace of blood, or fingerprint anywhere in the home, but some of the neighbors are absolutely positive there was a murder here.  The witnesses say a body was buried in the back yard, but there's no fresh soil to imply any digging, and no fresh sod.  In fact, the back yard looks completely pristine.

Now, did a murder take place?  Lack of evidence is, in itself, evidence.  Not that something exists or occurred, but that something did NOT exist or did NOT occur.
