I just went to get an Apple Vision Pro demo and oh my god that thing was crazy I was watching Mr beast on the freaking top of Mount Everest. I understand price is crazy but most people can only afford meta 3, so therefore they choose it. I am not either saying that I can afford it (literally nobody can) but the resolution is immensely better than the meta quest 3. But it also matters what type of person you are. If you like vr gaming, choose meta quest 3. If you want to have a tv twice as big as a movie theater in your bed whenever you want, Apple Vision Pro. If comparing both headsets without price, my opinion is Apple Vision Pro because I get dizzy playing games on meta quest 3. That’s just me after testing both.

Apple VP is dedicated to AR and will support VR. Meta Quest 3 is dedicated to VR and is a really good introduction to AR. Not the same target but for me AR will be massively adopted with glasses, not with headset because of the weight (VR players will know what I mean). So Meta Quest 3 is the winner because of the various functionalities it offers for its price.

I mean you have to realize that the quest 3, or at least how I see it, is more game oriented while the Vision Pro is more for video consumption and more office oriented. Personally love both and I respect what their target audience is.

The resolution is higher for the vision pro, maybe something on the line of 3200 X 3600 as the combined total reaches that 23 million that’s advertised vs the 16 million shown here.

Quest 3 you can actually play vr games and do productivity stuff also the mixed reality is pretty good for the price
