I love how you can actually connect these to older videos. Once you're in a flow state, things can feel like they're in slow motion

the problem is that in a more arcad-ish game like forza horizon, over driving actually works and is therfore encouraged.

I’ve always loved the saying

“Fast is slow
Slow is smooth
Smooth is fast”

In short fast speeds make slow times, slow speeds make smooth racing smooth racing makes fast times

I think you have actually made me a better sim racer. Thank you

Yeah I know, for Initial D by going slower or a set speed you can better understand how your car handles, and when you go faster it's going to be the same, you will apply same techniques and also develop inner clock

The editing in this is top notch and you don't drag it out any longer than it needs to be. Great vid, mate

I absolutely love to learn and these videos are just such deep cuts with technique. You should have your own class

I like the distinct difference between old f1 drivers and new drivers' driving style from what I saw so far. The old tyres have slightly less grip and last longer, as well as the car being lighter and shorter, thus slamming through the corners is no problem. New cars are larger and heavier, with stickier but more sensitive tyres, making the ideal driving to be smooth and sound through the corners.

This video helped me get a 3 second faster lap time than before.

This actually helped me cause my only other wheel experience has been Forza (and American Truck Sim which is a slow game) and I just wanna go zoomer brain speed 380kmh but now I’m more conscious about my understeering which was a big one, and literally ignoring brake lines and fly off course. So thank you men 👍👍

I love watching these videos even tho I never really cared about getting faster, something about the editing just sucks you in and you can't leave until it's over. ❤‍🔥

This doesn't just apply to driving. You can get faster at anything by just practicing to become more fluid/smooth

The Law of Reversed Effort is in full effect with sim racing. The harder and more desperately you try to achieve what you want, the less likely you will achieve it.

You are really helping me because over the years I've been an arcade racer and I dont want to sound cocky or whatnot but I genuinely win nearly all lobbies in different arcades. So I think I'll finally give sim racing a proper go.

What’s crazy is that I’ve experienced this before in forza of all games, I thought I was driving slow racing someone but I kept ahead and thought that my opponent was just driving slow but apparently not.
