Sometimes when I have to brake because speed limit I brake a bit more and drive slower as I’m allowed when I have no one in front and behind, only that I can accelerate more when the speed limit is over.

Giving it some welly can be fun, but it can also be nice to slow down when there's no one in front or behind to just enjoy the drive. No pressure to speed up and none to slow down, just enjoying the sights.

I do this in my car if I can - not often because the uk roads are so overpopulated. It’s fun going 0-60 in 3 seconds though

This is fine, but especially in the uk there are lots of junctions so you kinda do need to know the road and assume people can't judge your speed despite the gap you've created
