THE 3 FREE WAYS ARE
1. disconnecting battery terminal connection for 1 minute (free)
2. disconnect battery connection then hold horn or use headlights to discharge remaining energy in circuit (free)
3. disconnect both battery connections and wait 1 minute
4th way is best but not free, use OBD2 tool with toque app to reset or troubleshoot codes ($19)

This worked for me. Thanks for the tip. My gas cap was the issue, I guess I didn’t tighten it enough after fuelling. The check engine light was still showing so I tried your tip and it worked well. 👊🏼

Great video. I actually have an OBD2 and the paid version of the Torque App. Mainly for a previous car I had as someone mentioned you could see accurate gas readings. However I also used it to reset the check engine light a couple of times which I believe was because of the gas cap.

After watching other videos on the same topic, your video is the best. You get right to the point explaining everything in detail. In addition, your voice is clear and don’t speak too fast. Again thanks for sharing young man....

Thanks dude. I have 2014 F350 and 3 times the check engine has come on and the dealer found no issues but as long as the check engine light is on it disables my remote start which is a B in the winter. Now I can clear the stoopid codes.
