It streams it using your local wifi network, so you can't play your pc games if you're on holiday unless you take it with you.

Tablets pretty much inevitable with the Tegra 4 out now at CES they showed a performance graph vs the Ipad 4's A6X and the Tegra 4. So it seems they are already looking into the performance aspect of things.

So, the screen can be flipped down over the gamepad for portability? I wasn't quite sure from the pictures. This 3D render would suggest that though. I would be worried about those analog sticks scratching up the screen...

In the actual CES presentation Jen-Hsun had Coonrad spin it around and so on live for different views; it wasn't just an exported project that took time to render. However I am sure UE4 and CryEngine 3 are capable of much more.

If your PC meets the min requirements for the PC Stream Gaming option (see the requirements under the link in description) Then yes it will be able to STREAM Crysis to your SHIELD device.

Not sure why there's so much negativity, but this looks pretty good to me, and if there was a way to hook up your HDTV to it wirelessly (of course if there isn't a way yet, I'm only guessing), then this would be amazing. There has to be an option to take out the screen if you're playing on your TV.
