What i noticed about this piercing is you must clean it 3-4 times a day with saline spray compared to the other piercings or it can get easily infected

I accidentally slept on the side of my 1 week old piercing and it still hurts like a b*tch and is currently swelling. My dvmbass also sprayed alcohol in it twice. Now I really need to follow the instructions for it to heal easily.

I got mine done for almost 8 months but it's still hurting from time to time. It's infected earlier and I removed it, cleaned out some blood and then took a long time to put my bar/stud back in.

Got my helix yesterday and in the middle of the night I woke up with the instant feeling to throw up and my ear was on fire, so I definitely grabbed it in my sleep. Ran to the bathroom and felt light headed and my body was so hot haha I was fine so don't let that scare someone away 😂😂😂😂

Just sharing my experience, I did helix piercing 9 months ago and i told you it is suck. As many said it took forever to heal. As hijabis im personally dont recommend you as when you are wearing inner hijab the ear got pressed for a long time which lead to headache. After 6 months of struggling with helix piercing as it gives swollen, bleeding, hard to sleep and cause me a lot of headaches, I decided to take off the piercing. Im more peaceful now 😂

Mine almost four months, not healed completely and still sensitive but I don't sleep on it, well not sure but I don't think so because if I do I always wake up but I read somewhere it could be a year or longer...

It doesnt take 3 months for anyone. it heals from outside to the inner skin, and it might look healed but its not.

Uhh I have no idea why but somehow my current helix is taking so long to heal, I hate it.

I got my first helix pierced when I was like 16, I had longer hair, didnt really take that good care of it and yet it healed in 2-3 months COMPLETELY
but then I got another helix pierced this September and it's been 8 months, I take good care of it, I clean it, I do my best not to sleep on it, not to touch it with clothes and it's still not healed, its so annoying I'm considering taking it out
