How to Ruin the Perfect Football Boot

In 2013, Nike released the Hypervenom I… Sure, it had big shoes to fill—replacing the much beloved Total 90 Laser—however, thanks to it’s innovative Nike Skin upper, it wound up being up for the task. Sadly, the second generation was anything but, with Neymar Jr. hating the boot so much that Nike wound up changing it halfway through the year. How many of you remember this boot? Personally, it’s up there with my favorite of all time. #football #nike #neymar #skills #soccer #futbol #sports #brasil #goals #footballer

One of the rare few times Nike absolutely messed it up. The upper on the phantom 2/Phinish was so garbage and stiff which even Neymar didn’t liked his custom versions so switched to a Nike Mercuial Vapor X disguised as Nike Hypervenom Phinishes. Months down the line many top footballers got customized version with the original Nike skin upper which led to Nike making a change

Mercurial or death, Nike messed up day 1 with not making the hypervenoms into what would then become the mercurial superfly.

I think my point stands as the superfly is still being sold and the venoms are shelved.

Exact same thing as they've done with the GX and then coming out with new Luna and calling that a GX2!
Though the GX2 are still a good boot it's nowhere near how awesome the Original GX were.
And by the looks of it they shot themselves in the foot, as Adidas have now blown the out of the water with the Predator 30, especially the FT version, at my local club all the players who had GX's last season are coming in wearing Preds 😆
