I remember I was called spoiled for knowing when my local grocery store had sales on produce. It’s not hard, most stores after 6pm reduce produce by 25-50% and the day before delivery day it’s more than 50% off

Care because I used to buy price-reduced items from supermarkets (big chains) and I got such bad food poisoning twice in the same year once from their ready-made meals (Sainsbury's/Morissons in the UK) that I had to go on meds for 6 months and now I'm still recovering from not having my stomach upset by everything. Stuff that always upset my stomach even before was old chocolate kept in shitty conditions as Supermarkets tend to do (improper temperature conditions) by the time they have gotten close to their expiry date (I'm a little bit like a pH strip, except I react to how old the food I swallow is). I'd always have to check the expiry date on Christmas, Easter & co when people gifted you stuff and some chose the easy route.

My town has a discount store that sells a bunch of stuff that are 6 for $1, including protein bars! I'll get dozens of protein bars for just a few bucks. It's insane.

I go to the flea market and I find a 4 pack of quest shakes and gnc shakes for 2 bucks. Still not as crazy as those metrx bar prices my goodness best flavor too
