The 5 Different Types of Chemical Reactions

In Intro Chemistry, we learn 5 different types of chemical reactions: synthesis, decomposition, combustion, single replacement, and double replacement. To keep them in order, we can compare them to the joy that is sandwiches.

Have an exam a little under an hour from now, apparently, we didn't learn this! It helped a lot, but if possible do you think that you can still have some chemical equations on the last two examples? I really enjoyed the sandwiches, but having the chemical equations there so I can see how it would play out on a test sheet would help a lot too!

Is Na placed above Ca in the activity series or below it? Technically, Na reacts more rapidly and evolves more energy in reactions with oxygen, water etcetera, but there's also that the activity series is based on displacement reactions in particular and I've also come across the term electrode potentials (that I know nothing about) in this regard. There are conflicting answers on the internet. Also, is platinum placed above gold?
