Misha Mansoor walks you through the Flux Echo

After over 2 years of design, testing, and tweaking we are so excited to finally be able to present our latest inspiration box: The Flux Echo!

It’s the result of years of research & development, our community’s great input and Misha’s extensive delay collection ranging from vintage tape echoes to modern crisp delays...

Mono and Stereo I/O's: The Flux Echo is designed to work great with most setups including traditional mono rigs as well as stereo rigs with multiple amps/instruments, it even sounds great with synthesizers.

Flux Mode: Variable switch that allows 3 distinct voices: a warm, ambient reverb with clean analog delay repeats, a lightly modulated reverb with a smooth reverse delay, and a shimmer reverb with a tape-style echo.

Tap/Hold switch: Tap to set your delay tempo, hold to freeze both reverb and delay. Once you let go both will decay as set.

Bypass/Delay and Reverb Trails switch: Tap to turn the Flux Echo on or off. Hold the bypass switch down while the pedal is on to enable or disable delay/reverb trails.

do I have to wear those socks in order to maximize the pedal's capabilities?

Ordered mine today! Can't wait for it to get here.
Edit: Got mine in yesterday and plugged it in today (07/22). First impressions are great. I can see why its frequently said its easy to get lost in this pedal just playing. With the right setting the reverbs are lush, the delays decay just right, the tap tempo and the trails select options are icing on the cake. Im loving it so far. It sounds as good as it looks. The only struggle so far is finding the balance on the mix knob, I get the mix good for my clean channel and then if I switch to lead channel the reverb delay mix is overbearing and needs to be backed down a bit. Not sure if thats just the nature of the pedal or my rig. Im running it after the precision drive into the front of my dual rectifier.

I only wish there was a dial to set tempo. It’s hard to press those clicks buttons in rapid succession, but I love the feedback sound you get setting the repeat speed insanely high on delays

Makes for great leads as well. Make sure you're plugged into the effects loop 🤘🏽

Im assuming this pedal has to be a banger. With the success of the precision drive, there's no way this won't be awesome .
Not in this day and age, 2 yrs of product development is called smart business. Excited for this pedal. Congrats on your success

The overall design for controls/features in this pedal basically replicates Wampler Ethereal reverb+delay (which I own). Ethereal has more mids punch in its delay and reverb character, whilst FE sounds way more "transparent" and lunar. It would also be great to demo this pedal with some overdrives/boosts in front and see/hear how much headroom this pedal has. It took some time for me to get used to Ethereal's low headroom (after placing it in FX loop after my JC-40's preamp and running it at 18V, no issues though). Interesting pedal, thank you Horizon Devices.

Gonna be honest here, this is a really sick sounding and looking pedal with one fatal flaw. There is no way to turn the reverb off or pair different reverbs with different delay settings. After playing with it for a few hours I gotta say I found this pretty frustrating. Love the delays on here but paired with the reverbs all the time ? I don't know man I just feel like this is something that definitely should have been added and really takes away from the functionality of this pedal (especially the tape delay/shimmer verb combo). If there were internal controls for the reverb like the ones on the nano attack or even just a little button to turn it off this thing would have been near perfect. Unfortunately in its current state I find it a bit limiting but maybe at some point in the future we will see a 2.0 version of sorts.

damn Misha! cant wait to get my hands on this dude, beautiful execution brother! thanks for making such amazing items for us like minded guitarists man, I appreciate all of your, and the Horizon Devices teams hard and consistent work. bad ass, I can't wait to get one of these!, maybe see if JST will update your signature plugin with this alongside the precision drive? like a 2.0 rerelease

Is there any way to adjust the delay stereo width or style e.g. ping pong vs HAAS?

Shame it didn't come with a link to a pdf for instructions though

Just got my FluxEcho set up & it literally doesn't produce any echo. The buttons don't activate when i press them for some reason?? Is anyone else experiencing something like this. Im not quite sure what im missing. The sound passes through, but the Tap Echo button & the bypass button dont activate when triggered. I've never seen this happen with any guitar pedal I have ever used. Its almost like the contacts never got put together in the internals or something... Someone please help. The horizondevices website won't let me ask questions about the flux echo so idk how to get information about why these buttons won't trigger
