Sony needs to work on their remote designs. Always chunky rubber buttons. For something I'm going to use often and leave on my side table it needs to look as elegant as the soundbar.

I'm replacing an old Sony DD 5.1 system so a new sound bar with HDMI 2.1 passthrough is a must which is future proof for an 8K/60 TV in the future. Too bad the HDMI 2.1 firmware update on their X900H is neutered. I have an X900H but if I was a console gamer, I'd be pissed. Since I only got the TV for streaming DV/HDR movies, the HDMI 2.1 features that do work to spec, and the ATSC 3.0 tuner are just bonuses.

If your buying this soundbar make sure that your Sony TV does not make a hissing sound from the tweeters, when using the TV as a center speaker. It is still is a common issue across the world with the J, K and L series. I bought an X90L TV from a company that had good customer service and returned both the TV and Soundbar. Some people unfairly notice after its too late to get a refund. Appareently many have had the motherboard changed but sometimes it doesnt work. Sony are terribl for sending out so many faulty unit and not being honest and recalling them because there are so many TVs out there with this fault.

For the price, wireless base and rear speakers should be included. I have the jbl 9.1 and love it.

Hello everyone Please tell me, on the HT-A7000, where the side paired speakers play only one speaker at the edges, the neighboring one is silent, that is, one speaker plays on the left side of the soundbar and only one speaker plays on the right side of the soundbar. I tried to run content 7.1.2, the same thing, I already started thinking that it was a marriage....It's always been like this, only now I'm starting to think. What's wrong?
