I just got my soundbar. I'm already having issues with sound cutting out... i thought maybe it was the hdmi cables but its doing it on the setup sound field optimization aswell which is making me think, it's a hardware issue

Got a ST5000 the other day from Best Buy (Open Box) but it was never opened for $900. It has some quirks but in three years, the A7000 will probably be about the same for an open box. I'm cool hanging back a generation and stacking the other cash for more important things ... like gummy bears.

What does it mean "integrated UI works with..." does it mean that my model Sony x90j will work as a acoustic center sync? Will it work as central channel at all?

I've had this about 2 weeks. When i turn off the tv, the soundbar does not recognize HDMI-eArc when turned back on, and the sound defaults to tv speakers. I have pass-through turned ON in the soundbar menu. it's aggravating the only fix seems to be to powercycle the TV 3 or 4 times before eArc is again recognized by the soundbar

Hi, when adding the rear speakers does the system then become a 9.1.2 system and does it send the proper rear channel audio out through to them? Say I won’t hear background noises in the front speakers? Thank you

I have Sony x80j 50inch tv. I have setup my tv in bedroom in front of bed. Distance between tv and where we sit on bed for viewing is 8-10 feet. Which at Atmos soundbar should be enough for such a distance to enjoy immersive experience while watching Netflix, prime, Disney+. Please guide.

Hi Sony Team,

I bought STR-DH790 receiver last week. I bought two pair of sscs5 and sscs8 center channel and sscse Dolby Atmos speakers. I am very happy with the purchase. I am using sscs5 for front left right and rear left right.

I have two questions:-
1. Can I add two center channel in series to have more dialogue clarity? Can I use secs5 as front left right in additional to center channel.?
2. I am using sscs5 for front left right. Is this good choice? Should I use sscs3 Tower speakers for front left right?

Please suggest.

Hi Sony Team, will the ht a7000 support VRR and ALLM in the future via Update?
Would this Soundbar setup work in a open living room where the right wall is about 2m away from the soundbar and the left wall approximately 9m since it is supposed to work with sound reflection?
What would be the best way to connect a xbox series x with the sony ht a7000 and sony A80J TV?

For the rear speakers, do they have to be the exact distance/position/height mirrored with each other? Or can they be significantly different and the Sound Field Optimisation adjust accordingly? Am asking as my entertainment room has a built in cupboard on the back left side so the back left speaker will be higher and further than the back right.

I cry when I see the cost here in Canada for the bar..woofer plus two surround speakers is over $3k! Sadly more than my TV! Ugh Sony!

I have HT -A7000 after 16 months I got disappointed with the quality😢...it's eArc HDMI port stopped working and I am not able to get all the features of it😢...I did reach out to service centre but unfortunately they are saying it's out of warranty and HDMI needs to be replaced and that will cost around 20k INR😢😢😢....
I bought Sony product for its quality but unfortunately it's hardware is not good.😢
