Community, community, community! My community hunters and gatherers dropped off 3 small deer roasts, fresh trout and frozen white fish. I'm cooking down maple syrup as I watch you Mr. Goshen. Thank you sir. Everybody prep.

I like to stockpile tinned fish like kippered herring, sardines, salmon and tuna. They have alot of protein and they are quick lunch if you are working on your property. Several years ago, I bought two 50lb bags of russet potatoes (9.99 per bag) that I dehydrated. I dried them in slices. Some I ground to a powder and some I left in slices. I have done that same thing with sweet potatoes. Thanks for the videos!

The food we eat during the crisis won’t matter as we’ll be thankful for whatever we have! Pasta, rice, beans, gravy. It just won’t matter anymore! Get whatever you can get your hands on!

A note to add, when you buy dried goods you're not paying for added water, etc.

Tea or Coffee is one of my items. Any drink that you just add water too!

That is a good list you have here, with some things we might not think of. I think it's a good idea to have something like coffee or cocoa or tea. They're certainly not essential, but they can help to make you feel a little more human during hard times.

Buckwheat. Lasts forever and you can grind it to make flour for bread, pancakes, etc.👍

Herbs and spices is a great one many people over look. As a bonus, many of these are easy to grow, even indoors if you've got a window. Many are perennials, too! So once you plant it, it will come back each year. Rosemary, Sage, Ginger, and Turmeric, just to name a few.

Salt is a must, pepper along with other spices. I need to buy more canned corn as I don't have enough room to grow everything in the city, but I am trying.

One thing I stockpile that I admittedly copped from another prep channel is popcorn. Vacuum seal in small jars along with my beans and rice. No, not all together, each individually. Never thought about instant potatoes, though, makes sense.

Peanut Butter. I recently bought a jar of dry peanut butter powder.
