I agree with few of his views about skincare, the soap on face or vaginal cleaning products being horrendous but what bothers me are two statements

1. SPF creams are important and should be used at least 2 times a day. Spf protects you from sun damage. UVA and UVB, these rays cause premature skin aging, look up truck driver sun damage and most importantly they protect from skin cancer. SPF also creates a barier on your skin that prevents air pollution from damaging your skin.

2. Natural skincare - natural skincare is not better, actually it can be more harmful.
First, in law there is no description of natural ingredients, that means company can say that the product is all natural about any existing ingredient . One company will say this ingredient is not natural when the other will state that it is.
Second, essential oils are ones of most irritating ingredients and cause allergic reactions and skin dermatitises. Plant extracts also known for causing allergies and breakouts much more often than silicones.
Natural does not mean better or saver it is just a way for companies to sell you their stuff because being scared sells.

The things you should avoid the most are fragrances and dyes because they are the most common allergens.

Overall skin health is a complicated topic. It starts with the food we eat, hormonal abnormalities, environment we life in: air pollution and quality of water, to the skincare or allergies caused by chemicals.
