See what everyday life was like around 1930 in Tulsa OK at corner of 6th & Main Streets. Newly constructed Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) building visible and Medical Arts building. Era when Tulsa was Oil Capital of the World. Vintage autos and women in 1920s dress. Police officer directs traffic.

Its weird to think we have gone backwards in time imo. What i mean is tulsa used to have a trolly system that ran downtown, every neighbord in tulsa used to have its own market, you could have milk delivered to the house and you recycled the bottle back and all the large companies had shuttle systems for employees. Most folks didnt own a car and to me that sounds pretty sweet and easy living. My home here in tulsa was built in 1942 and still standimg stronger then new homes built in the area suburbs

Walk these same streets every day. I would love to see them this lively. Sometimes is literally just me on the street walking to work in the morning. My heart breaks at all the beautiful art deco buildings destroyed for ugly parking lots.

I worked in downtown Tulsa for 25 years. The buildings still looked just like that at that corner.

I'm an electrician and I used to work in some of those old buildings ..I have like almost 3 years working in some of those old buildings ...now looks almost the same than those old good years ✌️😁

My Uncle owned the Alhambra Hardware on the NE corner of 15th and Peoria. Barely inside the city limits at the time.
