I’m Italian and it’s not everywhere like that, but I am still glad to live in Italy 🙃

"Rich people live in a completely different reality" fixed it for you. Italy is obviously a wonderful country but your economic position has a big influence on how much time and possibilites you have to experience the country in it's entire beauty.

Nobody in Italy lives like that lol, that’s like saying the average Californian lives in a Beverly Hills mansion playing basketball with Drake

Italians working 75 hours a week just to pay their groceries and live with their parents : "I didn't know this existed"

I live near lake como, one of my most regarded memories involves villa del balbianello. Mostly everywhere you live in italy, it only takes 10 minutes by car to reach a world famous attraction, spending your afterwork time (whenever you have any) and your sundays in a quality place is very easy, and that’s the thing i like most about my country.
But don’t forget that real life and holiday time are very different things, human relationships (italians are nor always the nicest and most open minded people with other italians) and job opportunities don’t always make it easy to appreciate our country as tourists do.
On a personal note, I’ve always been jealous of people living near forests in Northern Europe or the english countryside, I’d gladly make an exchange if anyone’s interested 😉

Italy is simply beautiful. It has it all. Not many countries are lucky enough to have what Italy has.

As an Italian it depends where you live in Italy and how much money you have, i live in a zone in Italy (southern Italy) that has had a pretty wacky past as i live right in front of some former criminal's house so i don't live like this but living conditions are still pretty good in my opinion

I live in one of the towns showed in this video, although they're very pretty and the beaches are lovely, living in a touristy place has it's own flaws. Winter here is depressing since no-one's around (not even the locals), public transport is sh!t and if you need to shop for anything expect food or basic essentials, you'd have to go an hour away in the car and the traffic is AWFUL. It's perfect for tourists but living here has it's pros and cons. Positive thing is that it's safe even late at night and there's nothing to worry about no matter how busy it gets.
