You know you've hit some snake-related life goals when - whilst talking about the conda pattern - you can casually bring out an actual Anaconda to show the difference. Oh what a fabulous, magical place Snake Discovery is! <3

Also can we just acknowledge how good Tiny has gotten with being handled? It's crazy how much he's chilled out!

We both made morph videos in the same week?? Already our minds are as one!

The absolute precious snoot on the Hognose snakes just kills me. I have learned so much and appreciate reptiles so much as well. Thank you!!

My little toffeebelly hognose just did an amazingly nice shed, with the head fully intact! Also we're learning about genetics in my science class and I remembered some stuff from your old video about snake morphs

As a biologist, thank you, Emily, for making the effort to give accurate genetic explanations! Also, more videos where you hold hognoses the whole time would be awesome!

I am currently taking a biology course at university and we just had an exam that included genetics. All of the videos you guys have put out about genetics, watching hatching videos, really helped me understand the class material better! Talking about pea flowers was just not sinking in my brain, but when I used your snakes as examples, it was way easier for me to understand! Just thought you'd guys like to know that your videos helped this student pass her exam! <3

I wanna see a lavender super-conda someday!! Keep up the good work, I love seeing the animals, and learning something at the same time!

Lavender morphs are my fav! Hognoses are so unique and actually my sister is planning on having a few different morphs for breeding!
Continue be amazing Em and Ed!

Biology zoology bachelor degree owner here and I absolutely love hearing you guys talk about genetics in morphology 🥰

I'm sad you guys no longer have Sabel, kinda missing her in videos like this :(
But on the bright side, that lemon hog is absolutely gorgeous and unique!! Can't wait to see how he changes :)

The Lemon Hypo morph is really cool, I also really like the "Red" color and think it's very pretty. The Snow is my fav, and the Lavender is a close second.
Cool combo thoughts: Snow-Conda. Lavender-Conda. Red-Lemon Conda. Super Conda of any of the above colors.

I'd like to see a snow super conda, or a lavender super conda. They're all pretty for different reasons though. Hognose rainbow!

Glad you posted. Just put my cat down and my heart is broken. It's a welcome distraction. I hope you know how much people take comfort in your videos. Many thanks

I love watching people who are extremely passionate about what they do - it’s just so inspiring and motivating to keep doing what I love as well.
Thank you, Snake Discovery! Keep doing what ya do!

Wow, Tiny has grown so much! It's been a while since he's been on the channel. I'm glad he's doing well.

I'm also a sucker for the lavender morph, but I am really intrigued by the lemon. Hadn't seen that before. Most satisfying part of this video for me? "FEWER spots." Seriously made my little grammar nerd heart happy. Thanks for the cool breakdown and looking forward to seeing little hog behbies!

I think the terms “codominant” and “incomplete dominant” just kind of evolved over the last couple decades to be more accurate. In my college biology classes, we only discussed codominant genes, but never used the term incomplete dominant. But that was over 20 years ago…. 🤷‍♀️

In high-school I really loved science and its pretty cool to see how the punnett square applies to the actual genetics of a species. Understanding the basics of the punnett square also helps a lot in understanding how different morphs and genetics work together. 🐍❤

I discovered your channel start of quarantine 2 years ago, and at the time I loathed snakes. I now own 2 hognoses thanks to you 😊
