In reality the V8 sedan is one of the best things humans created.

It doesn’t look “dull”, it just doesn’t look like a ridiculous spaceship. I think it’s one of the best looking sedans of the past decade.

I knew an old dude who got diagnosed with terminal cancer and bought one of these for his last bit of fun.

That car sounds like it can go from calm to wicked fast pretty quick

The exhaust disqualifies it as a sleeper

This and the Pontiac G8 are great Aussie cars that flew under everyone's radar

I drove a 2010 v6 wagon of these on a daily basis for few months. Absolutely one of the best vehicles I ever driven

When it sounds like that it definitely stops being a sleeper.

My mom has one of these. It’s garage kept, something like 40000 miles, ACTUALLY never beat on. I’m so envious of her lol

The Chevy SS is so underrated, my coworker has one and it goes hella fast. They sound glorious and perform like a corvette hiding in a sedans clothing

I got the same engine out of a rear ended 2017 SS. Had only 4k on the clock. Ended up putting in a 96 impala SS

RIP Holden. Still have a 69' HT and currently still drive a 2002 VX Commodore with the 5.7 LS1

Criminally underrated. Chevrolet really did this car dirty with the lack of promotion/marketing. The Aussie's know what's up.

Fun fact: the Pontiac GTO, G8, and Chevy SS are all different generations of the same Australian car, the Holden Commodore. The GTO was a 3rd Gen, the G8 was a 4th Gen, and the Chevy SS is an updated 4th Gen

I've got one. 2017, Manual, Green. Procharged. 600Whp. Quite a bit of fun. Fits my family and nice on road trips.

Seeing rebadged Commodores and Caprice's in the States makes me proud to be an Aussie. Its like seeing a Qantas plane overseas. We might crap on them at home but when you see something from Australia somewhere else it fills you with so much pride!

Used to work in the factory that built these in body shop, plastics, general assembly so I saw alot of the differences in Aus, Middle East, UK and US market variations, The car that went to the US was better car than any of the other markets cars and sold alot cheaper then alot of higher trims of the other markets that didn't come close to how good US market car was
You really do get the best of everything dirt cheap in US you had features on your cars that no other market even had the option to have even if they were willing to pay more for it.
